Journalling

How to regulate your emotions and find clarity? Have a conversation with yourself. I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear. Writing is my go-to tool for sorting out how I feel.

Writing has been my go-to since I can remember. I can’t count the number of journals I’ve filled with wonderings. The number of pages I’ve written about a broken heart and how I might heal it, about betrayals, grief, longing. About joy and what it feels like to sink into love.

Writing has helped me to discover who I am, what I want, where I want to go, how I want to live and with whom. I believe I have written my life. Also, the process of writing your thoughts down helps you to solidify them. Seeing them on the paper allows you to see them more clearly and will push you into taking action.
